my resolution this year is to make more money, preferably selling something online, any ideas?

i started building computers and selling them, but it is kinda hard to compete with the big daddys like HP and Dell.. so im looking for any other ways of making money, preferably online.. thanks in advance.

Has anyboby got some general blogging tips for me? Is it really possible to make money blogging online?

I have read a lot about blogging for money, some of the stuff on here. How does this work? Is it possible? Are there any pitfalls to watch out for or scams. From what I have read it sounds like something I would really like to get involved with, any general advice would be much appreciated.

On the face of it blogging for money is fairly easy, what with all the possible hosts out there and many forms of monetizing I don't know why everyone isn't blogging to make money online. However there is a bit of catch to it, especially if you are looking to make an online income out of it. A blog is NOT an online business, it is simply a marketing tool to create online income. If you want to make money blogging you will have to think like a business man and decide on how you are going to target your blog. By that I mean what niche are you going to write about. These are just a few things you will need to be a successful blogger; - You will need to choose a blogging platform with Blogger and Wordpress been the most popular. You can have a free domain or buy one for $10 or so. - You will need to review your niche before starting, ensure there is enough traffic available to make money. You can use the adwords keyword tool to accomplish this. - Take time to respond to emails and comments you may get. As I said treat it like a business, build confidence and respect in what you are doing. - Research your niche on a daily basis so you can write informative posts and keep people up to date within that blogging niche. - You will need to post articles at least 3 times a week, this is for 2 reasons. The search engines love fresh info and your readers may get bored if you don't write enough. - Write for people first and the search engines second. Be sure to read up on search engine optimization but don't become too wrapped up with it, concentrate on building rapour with your visitors. - You must get links to your blog, one of the best ways to do this is article marketing but also by writing quality content that people will want to link back to. Remember blogging is not an easy income source it is going to take hard work and determination. The money will not come straight away and I suggest reading as much free info online as possible. Never pay for anything and in the early days maybe monetize your blog with google adsense. There is no end of blogging info online and tips and traick for making money. Read it and then apply it, if it doesn't work...move on and try something else...this is how you become successful. Good Luck

I've seen all the claims about how to make money online but does anyone have access to any real information about making money online? What guarantees are there? If I don't make money online are their any that will refund my money no questions asked or are all of these make money online claims just BS? You can make money anywhere and everywhere. It's a matter of how you make it. Making money online is a very broad and general question. You can make money by doing many different things. Using Ebay and sites like that you can post things online for sale. Using Craigslist you can post job offerings if you have a small business. You can sell textbooks on Amazon. The possibilities are endless. You can CREATE your own business online too if you want!

There are loads; Light Speed Panel, Quidco, Ciao etc. I think Quidco is great, I earn loads but you do have to spend money to make money on there =)

The people making "big bucks" selling on line (through micro stock etc) are those who are full time photographers and have researched their markets fully. To make money from stock sites you need to have good quality shots (all stock sites have min. requirements) and lots of them. Check the sites and see what the big sellers are and that will give you an idea of what is required. If you are thinking of selling your own work from your own site then you will not make "big bucks" unless you are exceptional at marketing first and photography second.

Hi Im looking for a safe way to make money online?

I know there are loads of scams and such like and it doesnt just have to be just surveys Ive searched the internet for ages and found other ways but Im looking for something that doesnt mean I have to be an expert on the internet and will evenually make a reasonable amount of money and something that is suitable for the UK I would also love to hear about any other genuine jobs I can do from home it doesnt just have to be internet based ones e.g typing or anything really
